Since 1997, Wilderness Works has been impacting the lives of disadvantaged children in Atlanta, GA. Children experiencing homelessness with their families or living at or below the federal income level have benefitted from the healing power of outdoor spaces and fellowship created by Wilderness Works’ programs.
It has been a privilege to witness the transformative nature of this program, to see the children grow and to watch Wilderness Works partner with social services organizations to reach those in need.
